This paper systematically examines the developmental trends, challenges, and corresponding solutions of the industry–education integration model in the field of application-oriented undergraduate education. Through a detailed analysis of issues encountered during the implementation of industry–education Integration—such as low enterprise enthusiasm, imperfect collaborative mechanisms, and a disconnect between talent cultivation and industry needs—this study proposes practical countermeasures. These include strengthening policy and regulatory frameworks, exploring new models of cooperation, and establishing diversified collaboration systems. The aim is to provide both theoretical foundations and practical guidelines for the further development of industry–education Integration in application-oriented undergraduate education, better aligning it with the practical needs of socio-economic development, and to cultivate more highly qualified talent.References
