E-commerce assistance for agriculture provides new momentum for economic development and rural revitalization. Taking rural areas in northern Anhui as the research subject, this study investigates the impact of rural e-commerce on regional innovation efficiency. The findings indicate that the overall scale of rural e-commerce in northern Anhui has steadily grown, giving rise to distinctive products and brands, and establishing an innovative model involving multiple stakeholders. Patent applications and the number of high-tech enterprises in the region have shown a trend of steady growth with improved quality, accompanied by continuous increases in R&D investment and rapid growth in technology contract transaction volumes. Furthermore, the relationship between rural e-commerce and innovation efficiency reveals that e-commerce expands market opportunities and optimizes resource allocation, thereby stimulating innovation vitality, reducing innovation costs, and directly enhancing regional innovation efficiency. Additionally, through industrial agglomeration and attracting innovative talent, it indirectly promotes improvements in regional innovation efficiency. Based on these conclusions, relevant recommendations are proposed to support the strategic goal of rural revitalization in northern Anhui.References
